Mr. Eala is the Firm’s Special Counsel for Securities Law, Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Oil and Gas. He graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1996.
Mr. Eala provides a rare mixture of technical expertise and practical experience in Securities Law and securities practice, after having served with distinction as the former General Counsel of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) for many years. As General Counsel, he can be directly credited with creating many of the rules that the PSE is using today to protect investors and at the same time to encourage investment. Since 2003, he has also been a Director and the Corporate Secretary of Veridium Energy Ventures, Inc., an active participant in the downstream petroleum industry and the first company in the
Philippines to introduce and develop markets for nano materials in fuel applications.
